Spencer Cleary is a craftsman based in Portland, Maine. Spencer attended Maine College of Art and Design and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in woodworking and furniture design in May of 2023. Since graduating Spencer has used the skills he learned as a student to propel him into a finish carpenter position. As an artist and woodworker, Spencer’s affinity for curves has dominated his education and exploration of ways to manipulate wood.
